How to ask someone out with a link
A long message puts the other person on the spot. A link lets them open a page made for them, see the plan, and answer when they are ready.
What the link should do
It should open on their phone, show your name and the plan, and let them say yes or no in one tap. No account and no app. If the No button moves, that is the joke, and they can still decline when you allow it.
What to put on the page
Their name, a message in your voice, a time or a few times they can choose, and a place. A photo or a song is optional. The first invitation includes every feature.
Where to send it
Text, WhatsApp, Instagram, or iMessage. Send it when you would have sent the message anyway. After they say yes, they can add the plan to their calendar.
